Practice Areas

Criminal Defense

As a former senior prosecutor, Wall Street litigator, military trial practitioner and veteran defense attorney, Mr. Farkas provides the highest quality representation in every kind of Federal or State criminal matter and affords each client the personal attention they deserve. He recognizes that any criminal case can seriously damage an individual's life, career, and family. For this reason he aggressively defends the rights of each and every client without regard for how "big" or "small" a case may be.

Securities Defense

Mr. Farkas’ securities practice consists of representing corporate and individual clients in investigations conducted by the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, and investigations and formal disciplinary matters prosecuted by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Mr. Farkas also represents financial services companies and their individual representatives involved in retail or employment-related securities disputes or arbitration proceedings.

Military Law

After a career serving as a military prosecutor, defense counsel, and judge presiding over General Courts Martial, Mr. Farkas’ blend of “insider” JAG experience and civilian trial success renders him uniquely qualified to provide civilian legal representation to clients facing military-related criminal and administrative proceedings.
